readers, welcome to the Halloween Bloghop hosted by Sable Hunter. I’m honored
to be asked to participate in this event and my post today is about being
afraid. Ooh. This is Halloween after all and for whatever reason, people love
to be scared. They love haunted houses, scary movies. They dress up like
ghouls, witches, goblins. Eek! Seemingly part of the appeal of Halloween is to
embrace things you’d normally fear, like zombies. *shudders* Who wants to be
around a bunch of dead things. *laughs* But people love them, especially around
Halloween.
What
am I afraid of? Hmm, let’s see. Mice, snakes, very large insects, you know the
usual. And well, I don’t really like haunted houses or scary movies. Jason,
Nightmare on Elm Street and Chucky movies don’t appeal to me. I love the old
classic horrors like Psycho, even the Exorcist which frightens the beejesus out
of me is a great film.
What
about you? Are you afraid of vampires, ghosts, scary movies? What about demons?
Hmm, these things I am sure I’d be afraid of if I saw them in person. But since
I write them, they aren’t scary at all to me.
Here’s
a little about my twin vamps, Ryland and Ryder which have a book coming out
soon. Be mindful, it is an erotica twincest story so if you’re not into that,
perhaps you should stay away. I’m very proud of my vamps and I thank reader Judy
S for giving me the idea.

I can't stand to watch horror movies. I don't care to be scared out of my mind and then have nightmares, thank you! Especially the zombie movies. The idea of being eaten alive is just... horrifying. I avoid those especially hard.
