My turn!

“Damn…” I stared at the photo a little longer, wishing I could go to that happier time. Dale and I had been high school sweethearts, going to prom together despite the snickers and jokes. We’d made it through college, still intact, and then… “Fuck!” In disgust, I threw the picture down and held myself tightly. Uncontrollably, I cried aloud, tears staining my cheeks, leaving my face a wet mess. “I miss you so damn much, you know? When are you comin’ back?”

Trying to console myself, I closed my eyes and wished him to be safe then…

“I’m here baby!”

“Look at me! Damn do I ever look good. Won’t he be surprised when he gets in from work?” Damon admired himself in the mirror, checking out his newly shaped form. The six pack abs, the pecs, a face to die for. If he could make love to himself, he totally would.

I’d rather have Marv do it.

Satisfied with his look, he plopped on the couch and lit a cigarette while he stared at the ceiling. He’d been through a lot just so Marv would take notice. “I’ve waited centuries for this.”

Amazing what a little magic could do.
