Still gazing, he noticed Gabe pulling someone’s hand through a crowd. When Sire locked eyes with Gabe, his friend nodded with a smile as the young man with him was turned to the right. After a couple of seconds, Sire got a glimpse of the guy. He was dressed in leather, looking very appealing even from a distance.
Whoa
Sire sat up on his stool, angling his neck trying to get a good look as the twosome walked over in his direction through small throngs of people. Before he knew it, Gabe made his way over with a tall, lanky, gentleman with burgundy hair, brown eyes, chiseled features, and a wry smile. He looked a lot like one of the men on the flyer Gabe had earlier; almost the same outfit, his makeup perfect. His look was just what Sire wanted.
Gabe grinned, “Sire, this is Jarvis Densley. I been talking with him a few minutes about his choice of clothing. He looks a lot like you asked about, right?”
Sire drew up his lips, stroking his beard.
Jarvis Densley, ugly name for a beautiful man
Sire nodded in Gabe’s direction. “Right.” He held out his hand in front of Jarvis. “Hello, I’m Sire Jacobs. Nice to meet you.”
“Good to meet you too.” Jarvis accepted.
Gabe brought another seat over for Jarvis, waiving him in it. “I’ll be back, you guys go on and talk.”
Sire continued to stare at the young man as he sat. “Um, Gabe, what about my friends?”
“I’ll get ‘em,” he called back as he left.
Sire caught Jarvis gaze again, loving the sight of what was in front of him. The man was gorgeous. He looked exactly like the picture. “My friend, can I buy you a drink?”
“Um, sure, why not.”
“Whatd’ya have?”
“Um, just a Rum and Coke will be fine.”
Sire nodded, signaling for the female bartender to come over. “Love, please, Scotch for me and a Rum and Coke for my mate here. Make it a double since he seems a little nervous,” he smiled, pulling his wallet out. Sire looked into Jarvis Densley’s brown irises again. “So you came with someone?”
“Yeah, my roommate and his cousin…”
“Cool,” he said while slipping his wallet back into his coat, “No need to be nervous. Were just talkin’”
“I’m sorry Mr. Jacobs, I’m kinda shy. I didn’t expect Gabriel to pick me out the crowd and bring me up front.”
“Well, obviously, he had a reason, Jarvis. You’re really attractive for one.”
Sire watched Jarvis look away. The young man really was bashful. He would have to work on him to make him more comfortable.
More drinks were in order
