Congrats to Wicked Sis on Release Day!

Congrats to BL on release day of the final book in the SNOTM series.

Blurb: Alain Roux is the new President of the world famous Diamond Candies chocolate factory on the South Side of Chicago. His father, Demi Roux, lost his battle with cancer and has left the business in his care despite Demi’s brother’s advice to leave the company to him. Alain has no interest in the company but to fulfill his father’s last wish, he takes on the day to day of it anyway.

Ty Washington is a born and raised Southsider who is working there to put himself through college. Recently, his father threw him out because he confessed he might be gay. When he and Alain talk, his heart soars and as badly as he tries to fight it, the two connect and eventually they decide to give their relationship a try. In BL’s own humorous way, she’ll tell the tale of a man and his subordinate as they overcome the struggles to build a long lasting commitment.

Also, she received some fab news yesterday!

Day One Michael's 70K Bash - BLMorticia

Good morning! Welcome to the first day of my 70k bash. I'm sooo excited to be doing this. Seems like not that long ago we did the taboo tens right and now we have over 70k in views.

Since it's my favourite number, I had to do something special to celebrate. Who betetr to start the party off with then my wicked sis, the party girl herself BLMorticia with a promo post about her sequel ML2: In His Arms, coming from Rebel Ink Press on Dec 3rd!

* * * *

Helllllloooo readers! Congrats to my bro Michael on reaching 70k in views. Her's to many more in the coming years, then we can have another big bash right?

Soooo it's been a while since I had a release. Good ol' Rawiya's been busy with books and now it's finally my turn to have a new book coming out. It;s my sequel to my silver star on All Romance, My Lieutenant 2: In His Arms.

You may ask why I called it that? Well, In this one, this book is more about the relationship my favorite couple has cultivated in their short time together. Not only that, the challenge they face when the people around them either take issue with their relationship or their impending move to New Orleans. Oh and more tension? Nathan doesn't want to move. o.0

So it makes Lt. Bryant's job just a little harder and in his own words, he deals with it all the best way he knows how. Added to this is the usual level of snarky and some more hot sex between this hot twosome. I love these guys so much. I'll be doin' an Xmas story free read for them right after this book is released.

For now, enjoy this blurb and excerpt. Today, I'll be picking a lucky commenter to win ML1 and this one once it's released. Thanks for stopping by and congrats again bro man!

Nathan Ellerby and Lt. Bryant Duncan are at it again. This time, the narration shifts from Nathan to Bryant who’s looking to solidify his relationship with his favorite artist. The Lieutenant wants to take Nathan to visit his naval friends, his parents who still aren’t happy about his decision to come out, as well as his best friends bachelor party. Bryant refuses to hide his man from the masses and despite his man’s insistence on the unimportance of the matter, Bryant pushes on.

In this scene, LT Bryant shows who's in control!

When I finished, I carried a tray back into the bedroom and set it on the side table. Nathan lay on top of the burgundy satin sheets, on his stomach, with his sketch pad in front of him wearing his black-rimmed glasses. His brown hair was a mess on top of his head and a few curls lay limp on his shoulders. Damn, he looked so hot.  I could go another round with him right now.
“You ready for me to sketch you?” He met my gaze and flashed a wicked grin.
I returned the smile. “Not right now. I’d rather you pummel me into the mattress.”
“Of course I will. I just wanna make sure I get to start the portrait of you. You’ve got the strongest features, you know. Amazing bone structure.” He licked the tip of the pencil.
I took a seat next to him and looked over his shoulder. While I took a bite of my sandwich, I glanced at his drawing. Nathan was so brilliant at bringing a simple sketch to life. The picture wasn’t complete but I could tell it would look exactly like me when he finished. “Well, it’s those Irish genes. My dad’s side of the family’s from Dublin. When he was in the service, he found my mom, and instantly fell in love with her.”
“What a story! An interracial love tale back in the sixties.” Nathan peered into my eyes and went back to his task of shading his picture in.
“Yep, a preacher man and his black woman he found in church. That’s why I don’t understand my parents being so difficult about me being gay. Not that it’s the same thing, but it’s still a struggle for gay couples to be given the same rights as it was for multi-race ones back in the sixties.”
“Big difference, babe. It’s a man and a woman who, according to the church, are actually involved in a real marriage.” Nathan made the signal of quotes with an added smirk.
“Love between two people is a marriage. It should be color and gender blind.” Once I popped the last of my bread in my mouth, I traced the black branded tattoo on his back with my index finger. In response, he giggled and shrugged away.
“Ack that tickles, babe. You’re right though, it makes so much sense, yet it’s wrong.”
“Yeah apparently. Someday, I wanna make you my husband, legally, but I dunno if we’ll be staying in New York.”
Nathan cocked an eyebrow at me and sighed. “You still on that, hmm?”
“You thought I’d forget? Hon, the house is beautiful. I can’t wait for you to see it! New Orleans is a very inspiring place. The people down there are friendly for the most part and it’s just as city without all the hustle and bustle of New York.”
“But, but…” Nathan sat up straight and caressed the side of my head. “I love my hometown. I’m not sure I’ll feel comfortable anywhere else. I’ll have to hire a new team to work with me when I finally open a gallery. Fali and Sydney aren’t gonna move down south.”
“Aww, darn.” In jest, I snapped my fingers. Not that I didn’t like Fali and his twin, but the further we moved away from them, the less of a distraction they’d be to us. Yeah, you guessed it. I’m territorial. Why wouldn’t I be with such a hot man on my arm? “Babe, listen, Fali can still be the manager from here. When you open the gallery, you just need people to run it for you and finding a bunch of art geeks in New Orleans shouldn’t be that big of an issue. In my opinion, you don’t have to stay here to become a success. As usual, you’re throwin’ up roadblocks for us to move forward. I thought you were over that.”
Nathan dropped his head and blew raspberries. “I am when it comes to us. I’m allowing you to take over every facet of my life because—”
“You love me and moving down there is part of us. I love New York, too. We can always come back and visit, but I wanna start a new life with you away from here. I want a backyard with a pool, a big house in a place where the summers are hot and the winters are mostly snow-free. Yeah, there’s a threat of hurricanes, but these days, those roam everywhere.” I could see the disappointment on his face. “Look, we’re not movin’ right this minute, anyway. We still need to go see the place, but by the looks of those pictures, it’s exactly what I want.”
“There’s no legalization of gay marriage though.”
“Yeah not now, but there will be. We can still get hitched here. Nathan, stop worryin’ about things, okay? As long as we’re together, that’s first and foremost.”
“Then why not stay here in New York?”
“We will for now, just not forever!” Gently, I planted my lips on his forehead and traced his hairline with my tongue. “Now, about the visit to my folks…” To get more comfortable, I decided to change the subject. I could see this would be a sticking point with him he wouldn’t want to stop talking about. ‘”Don’t be nervous, okay? They’re really nice. It’ll just take them some time to get used to you.”
“I know… not worried about that. I’ll be respectful and I won’t curse. If they piss me off, I’ll just go stand outside.”
“I’ll be right behind ya, too.” I sensed the talk of the move to New Orleans still disturbed him. I grasped a handful of his hair and pulled it back. Once he met my gaze, I locked lips with him, forcing my tongue deep inside his mouth. “I love you. Everything I do is for you.”
Breathless from our embrace, he gasped and gripped the back of my head. “I know, I just…”
“Shhh… no whining allowed. I don’t wanna hear anymore, okay?” And I didn’t. One thing about Nathan is he hasn’t gotten used to the fact I like action and not words. I let them speak louder than anything I say. When he goes on and on about how he doesn’t want to do something, all I do is stop him quickly with kisses and more passion.
I don’t like to hear excuses, only see results. The point is we love one another and, in reality, it shouldn’t matter where we live as long as we’re together. But why waste the opportunity to live in a big garden house to stay in a cramped, overly expensive apartment in New York? The cost of living is lower, he could find a cheaper place to have his gallery, and—as I said to him—the town is very inspiring. Nathan could find plenty of reasons to be happy there but as usual, he’s giving me excuses why he can’t.
He still doesn’t get that I’m in control here.
Nathan Ellerby shall learn soon enough

“Um, Bryant…”

“Yes?”

Bryant leaned in closer.

“I wanted to ask you…”

“Yes…” he nodded, taking another drink.

“Yes, I do like what I see, yes, I am attracted to you and I would’ve turned my head if it were anyone else but knowing it was your place, I had to step in.”

My eyes widened, not believing he was openly confessing that he liked me.

“I…” I stammered.

“Listen, I’ve only been in the building about two weeks and ever since I saw you, I wanted to get to know you better. I’m a little shy. I didn’t wanna just come out and say it.”

“Okay, well, then… I guess that answers my questions…sort of.”

Six Sentence Sunday - BL's My Lieutenant

Good morning!

Since I'm taking over Michael's blog, today I'll do SSS from my newly released gay interracial novella,

(paraphrased scene to fit the six)

When that last statement came from his mouth, I knew exactly what to say next.

“Have you told you’re old buddies that you’ve changed your orientation?”

“To be honest, no. I’m still preparing for that.”

One point for moi.

"Nathan, why should I tell them what’s goin’ on if you aren’t with me in a committed relationship and why come out if there’s no one to come out for?”

Fuck he's good.

Thanks for visiting!

(Unedited Excerpt)

A very tall, dark, and handsome bald headed man was standing there with a pearly white smile.

“Hey, listen, I caught the guys that went through your things.” He smiled and nodded.

“Seriously?” I opened up the door slowly only to lock eyes with the most, gorgeous man I’d ever laid eyes on.

Fuck!

He  moistened his lips. “Hey, I’m new to the building. My name’s Bryant Duncan.” He put out his hand.

A black Irishman?

I accepted it. His hands were warm but kind of rough just the way I like them. That moment, his skin on top of mine sent heat to my groin. I took a whiff of his cologne. “Nice to meet you, Mr…”

“Call me Bryant, please,” he interrupted me. “Like I was sayin’, I saw the bastards going through your place. When they saw me, they tried to get away but, I called the cops once I got the building security to come up and help detain them.”

Holy shit, my hero…

“You didn’t have to.” I was completely impressed that he cared enough to put his life on the line.

We stood silent a minute.

“Ahem.” The cop came up behind me. “Okay sir, I need you to come down to the station and give a statement. If you could meet me downstairs.” Thiesmann adjusted his belt. “Mr. Duncan, nice work and um, Mr…”

“Ellerby, Nathan Ellerby.” I offered my hand.

The cop took my hand lightly. “Mr. Ellerby, don’t be too long okay?”

He walked back through the door and struggled to crawl under the tape. When I saw that I wanted to laugh but I had more important matters in front of me.

I gazed at him.

“I’m sorry, and you said your name was…” Bryant raised an eyebrow.

“Oh shit, erm.” I cleared my throat, noticing our hands were still locked together. “Nathan, Nathan Ellerby.”

We gripped each other’s palm tightly. “Good to meet you, Nathan.” He released my hand and my gaze then reached into his back pocket of his loose, fitting jeans.

I couldn’t help but follow his arms. They were so big, muscular. I could imagine them cradling me during the night.

“Here we go. My number just in case you need me for anything,” he grinned.

I took the piece of paper, still gawking at those lovely brown eyes. I tried to keep myself from drooling. “Man, I don’t know how to thank you.”

Bryant waved his hand, smiling. “No problem, man. I live right down the hall. I just happened to be on my way out to run some errands.”

“Yeah?” I leaned against the door frame. Suddenly, the robbery seemed less important.

“Yeah, those fools were doing it in the middle of the afternoon.”

“Interesting.” I licked my lips, looking away for a moment. I wanted to continue talking to Bryant, but Thiesmann was waiting on me. “Listen, umm, again, I don’t know how to thank you for what you’ve done. It was very brave of you.”

Bryant smiled, “Like I said, no biggie.” He put his hands together and rubbed them briskly.

This time my eyes didn’t follow. I tried to think of something else to say to keep his attention. “I, um…I need to figure out a way to repay you for this. Maybe, I could take you out to dinner or something?”

Bryant grinned, nodding. “Yeah, maybe we can have a bite to eat. If you need my statements or anything, make sure you use that card and give me a call,” he said before disappearing back down the hallway.

“Thanks so much, Bryant. I’ll be calling you to setup that dinner.”

“Cool.” He backed away. “See ya, Nathan.”

“Bye,” I said, watching his cute backside make its way down to apartment 17D. “Shii…” I mouthed to myself after I closed my door, grinning like a Cheshire cat. The man was my hero, in the span of five minutes I was in love.

Thank goodness for petty crime!

Welcome BLMorticia

Greetings fans!

MM: Welcome to Michael’s where I’m happy to have today’s guest, my fellow muse, the Wicked Gal BLMorticia on the blog today. Hiya doin’ hun?

BL: sits down and tugs at leather mini Hi Michael, great to see you back in town. Did you have a good time at Gay Rom Lit?

MM: I did. Sharita and I had a blast. So, today on my first day back you are my guest, so I’ll treat you just as if we didn’t know one another. How long have you, BL been writing?

BL: Well, I’m the oldest muse, been with Sharita since she was about 19. On and off, the 2 of us have put together some extraordinary tales. The first was a story called Vampadonis which became Dream of Dalian on the NNP antho as well as a couple shorts like All in the Cards which appeared on Every night Erotica earlier this year.

MM: Fab! When you look back at that old writing do you laugh at it or cherish it?

BL: A little of both actually. With Vampadonis, I turned it into something new but some of the really old ones, yes, we do guffaw at how amateurish and so many mistakes. We’ve come a long way haven’t we?

MM: Yes we have. Tell me about the latest releases since I know you’ll be busier than the rest of us.

BL: Oh, crosses legs Very busy. The anthology, Once Upon a Twisted Tale from Rebel Ink with my story, The Prince and the Penis was released last weekend on Amazon. Also, A Wicked Wanton Hallows Eve from Naughty Nights Press will be out by 1030 that includes my story, Dream of Dalian. Next is my first Novella from Rebel Ink, My Lieutenant and from Naughty Nights Press, Something Fresh Served Hot from the Something New on the Menu series due out by end of November.

MM: Jesus! I didn’t realize it was that many. Of the 4 which one excites you the most?

BL: Well that’s unfair, I love all the stories. I suppose I’d be most excited about My Lieutenant since it’s my own as well as Something Fresh. I love writing the snarky M/M and I enjoy my characters.

MM: Who’s the fave character or rather, the one that is most like you?

BL: I’d have to say Nathan Ellerby from ML and Alex Seidling from Something Fresh. Their characters are very similar and smart asses just like me. *laughs*

MM: Ha! Yep, that would be true. What is BL working on now?

BL: Hmm, well the M/F called Desire to be in Control for Rebel, Taming Wild Horse which you gave to me, thanks, and the sequel to ML will be next in line. I also have edits for NNP to do.

MM: Yes, it appears you and Rawiya will be the most busy since all I really have is edits. Even though I’m doing Nano next month. Okay, I have to ask you one of the questions I ask my normal guests, what is the hardest part about being an author?

BL: The waiting on submissions. *laughs* Also, the fact idiots pirate our books.

MM: I’m in agreement there. Okay fast round, ready?

BL: Yep

MM: Boxers or Briefs for your characters?

BL: Neither, commando baby!

MM: A perfect date with BL and ______

BL: Model Ryan Paevey (Left) would be a walk on the beach with a candlelight dinner and some soft music, wine, and plenty of toys and condoms to enjoy the night.

MM: WOW! *laughs* I just knew you were going to say a rock star.

BL: Have you seen Ryan? Hunny, woman must not live on rock stars alone. That man is so sexy it hurts.

MM: LOL yes, he's my model for Closely Guarded so I'm a big fan too. Okay then give me an impromptu erotic scene in 5 sentences or less.

BL: Ryan sat on the bed, cutting a wicked glare in Morti’s direction. He reached for her, pulling her curvaceous body into him for a hot embrace, tangling tongues while cupping her moist sex in his palm. His fingers lingered there, dancing on her clit while the other pressed inside her sweet canal. “Damn, Morti, fuck, I want you!”

MM: *fans self* That’s pretty hot. Okay, lastly, one word to describe BL.

BL: Wicked, you said one but also snarky. Hows that?

MM: Works for me. Thank you BL. Much success and keep writing those sexy snarky stories.

BL: Thanks Michael for having me here today. Bye all!

BIO: BLMorticia considers herself the snarky and wicked side of author Sharita Lira so expect her to tap into the taboo and unleash her fantasies on the world through her words. Just in time for Halloween, some great fairy tales turned around to make one fun anthology.

BLMorticia's first story of many to be released under Rebel Ink Press, the Prince and the Penis, a take off of the Princess and the Pea from Hans Christian Anderson.

Author's Blurb: Prince Corey of Metaldom desires a third in his relationship with his King but his highness doesn't like it and makes the challenge hard for the potential partner.

Unedited Excerpt:
There once was a prince who wanted another man to fill his bed. He had to be a real prince like himself. Be willing to travel to far and distant lands and enjoy many a night with all kinds of drunken wenches male or female if they so desired.
This one had to be special, no ordinary fuck who wandered about with little goals and no expertise. He should also be skilled enough to play the instrument the band required.
Since the last man had run off to be married to a rich whore, they were in need of a drummer. Could he tap cymbals in tune with the likes of Nicholai and his horde of rocking knights? Prince Corey, the bass player, had just about grown tired of all the list of characters who’d come to audition for the position of prince and skin beater. Disgusted and distressed by all the losers, he was about ready to give up all hope.

CONTEST: We'll give this a week! Comment on this blog and I'll give away a copy of the antho, Once Upon A Twisted Tale to one lucky commenter!
