Monday Mornin' Read

Monday Mornin's read is from my short in this anthology called Photogenic.

Have a look!

Buylink

I sat down at my desk, in my studio, looking over some shots I’d taken of a famous rock star drinking his milk. It was so innocent and yet so dirty all at the same time.

Too bad he’s straight

As I continued to go through the shots, my phone buzzed on my desk. I picked it up, looking at the LCD screen. The number belonged to my friend Marcus Fahley who went to high school with me back in the, ahem, a long time ago. We gravitated to one another because we had similar tastes in music, fashion, and art, not to mention, we were the first young men to openly admit we were gay. That was not a popular choice either, considering that we were teens in the late seventies when it was even more taboo to like men than it is now.

Marcus had called to tell me he’d landed a job for me to shoot Cosmo’s  Man of the Year photos. This was particularly good news considering I’d just heard about my mortgage payment being increased by over two grand. I mean, I made great money but still, who wanted to shell out that kind of extra cash.

The model I’d be taking shots of was none other than Christian Forbes; the hottest twenty-three year old on the planet right now. He was the name on everyone’s lips from Calvin Klein to Versace to Abercrombie and Fitch. The man was hot stuff and I’d be getting the chance to look at the gorgeous specimen up close and personal. Maybe, we’d even get a chance to get to know one another. One could only hope or maybe I was asking too much. Either way, at least I would get to gawk if nothing else. He was so pretty looking. Usually men that lovely did nothing for me but Christian was a unique exception.

*~~~~~*

Later on after my conversation with Marcus, I had to do my homework on my subject. Usually, I tried to find out anything interesting about my models because I felt the pictures could tell a more complete story of who the person was through props or actions to accompany their poses.

In the case of my rock star subject, Darren Bellwood, I found articles where he revealed how much he enjoyed drinking milk. So, even though he was doing a centerfold for a metal magazine and not an advertisement for the beverage, I had him drink a glass while posing so he could give the people an idea that he might be just as clean as he was dirty. Now, I wasn’t responsible for what he did after that; letting it drip down his chin. I’m sure that raised a lot of eyebrows but hey, I only take the shots.

As I Googled his name, Christian Forbes, I discovered the man was a big fan of baseball, was from the Midwest, and was a former Marine just as I was, who was honorably discharged.

“Hmm…” I said, reading over the article while sipping on my coffee. There weren’t that many interviews done with him, but the ones I found were very informative, not to mention, in those few articles, I didn’t see anything about a female companion which meant there was a very, small possibility that he may be gay or at least curious.

One could only hope…

Although the spoken words of this fine, young, man were few and far between, the snapshots he’d done were in abundance. There were so many photos of Christian either dressed in jeans and a tank or in formal wear. Not to mention, ones of him only donning underwear or nothing at all leaving me there salivating over him. Christian was every bit of gorgeous, more so than any man I’d ever laid my eyes on. He really was quite photogenic. It didn’t matter what he wore. The camera simply embraced him.

“Wow,” I mouthed when my eyes dropped to the muscle that was underneath the cloth that around his waist. After staring awhile, I gawked at another black and white picture, lying across black satin sheets with his eyes closed, head against the pillows, and his legs spread wide open. “Damn…”

Christian’s snapshots created a hard on that, at the moment, wasn’t under control. I had given up on my sexuality for quite a long time ago after I’d lost my last partner to AIDS but every once in a while, I’d be aroused enough to do the five knuckle shuffle. This would be one of those occurrences.

I leaned back in my chair, rubbing my manhood through my khaki pants, still staring at his picture on the screen. The visions of him, kneeling in front of me, while he massaged my erection. His blue eyes met mine. “Mmm…” My eyes rolled in the back of my head. My breathing quickened as I pulled my cock out of my trousers. The head of it was swollen, pre cum oozed from the slit. I licked my hand, encasing my shaft, beginning to move my skin back and forth. “Damn…Christian, look what you’ve done to this old man, huh?” I lowered my lids, dreaming of him pleasuring me since I was sure this would be the only way I’d enjoy Christian.

If there were a small chance he was gay, he wouldn’t want an old fart like me anyhow.

Monday Mornin' Read - Moan

Good morning! I'm doing the Monday Mornin' Read but now I've added Moan which means an impromptu sex scene. This is really BL or Rawiya's forte but hey I'll give it a try!

“Slower…” Ryan’s breath hitched and he leaned back in his chair, enjoying the moment with his new man.

Obeying him, Jason lightly ran his fingertips across Ryan’s chest, circling each nipple before taking the tip between his lips.

“Mmmph…” Ryan bit his lip and groaned. His cock stiffened in his pants, already leaking precum from the slit. “Fuckkk…”

“Baby…” Jason smiled and finished his sentence for him while he followed the trail of fine brown hairs to his belly button. Once he got there, he leaned in and toyed with the ring. Still playing with the small golden hoop, he started unbuttoning Ryan’s jeans. The 501’s didn’t go down easy from Ryan’s slim waist but Jason struggled with them till he got them around his man’s ankles. Ryan’s hard cock, moist and swollen, popped out, standing proud in the midst of soft curls.

“Fuckin’ beautiful!” Jason beamed and positioned himself between Jason’s legs.

“Show me how beautiful, baby…” Ryan purred and lay back, letting Jason go to work.

Hot damn! Finally together…

Monday Mornin' Read - Picture Prompt

Good morning! Feeling a little emotional and this short reflects my mood.

“Did you see what I saw?”

“Yeah…” Alex turned his attention from the window to his lover. “Peter, what do you think happens next? Will he forgive him?”

“Would you, after all they’ve been through?”

Alex shrugged his shoulders and sighed. “I dunno, good point. He could’ve stopped cheating on his husband with that other man if he really wanted to.”

“Yeah… and…” Peter nudged him.

“And what?”

Peter snuggled closer. “I dunno... It just goes to show we've got the same issues straight couples do. Infidelity, insecurities… relationships regardless if they’re same sex or not can be in danger if people aren’t honest. I hope that doesn’t happen to us.”

“It won’t babe because I love you with all my heart.” Alex pressed his lips against Peter’s forehead.

“I love you too and I believe you but please promise me…” He stopped and grabbed Alex’s bicep tightly. “Promise me, you’ll always be honest with me regardless of how much it hurts.”

Alex focused his attention on the man in the street, loading his car with all his belongings. I will but can I do that when we’re older?

Monday Mornin' Read - Picture Prompt

Good morning!

Here is a picture that prompted me to write a little short story for you off the top of my noggin.

“We were so close, Robert. I just knew we’d convince them we could be good parents and then…”

“Then my ex wife had to mess things up,” Robert sighed and held onto his man tightly. They’d wanted to adopt a child for years since they’d started living together in fact but every time they got close to the end of the process, something stood in the way of their goal to have a happy family.

Damn woman!

Despite all the wrong she'd done to him, Robert couldn’t hate her. Maybe she had a right to foul up his happiness after he’d married her without actually loving her. She acted as though she’d understood but now, she was only being a pain in the ass. Asking for more than their agreed amount in the divorce and thank goodness there were no kids involved. She might’ve stopped him from seeing them. Now, she did whatever she could to destroy his happy home life just because he’d left her. Some kind of way, she’d interfered with their chance to adopt a beautiful baby boy to call their own. The courts in their small town already frowned upon same sex couples so it shouldn’t have been a surprise that they wouldn’t allow two men to adopt a baby.

Nathaniel wiped the moisture from his eyes and lay on Robert’s shoulder. Seeing him hurt like this caused him much anger. So much he wished he could muster up enough hatred for his ex to retaliate. “Robert, what do we do now? I still want to have a baby in this house before we get too old to take care of one.”

Robert grabbed his face and kissed his lips. “Don’t give up hope, baby. If we have to leave this bigoted city, we’ll do it. Our dreams of having a family will come true. I promise you!”

Monday Mornin' Read

Morning!

I love this picture! Two alpha males in love or maybe they aren't and they're having an encounter?

Ex lovers perhaps or maybe one was caught with the other's man?

The possibilities are endless.

* * * *

We'd traveled across the globe together with chips on our shoulder, every night responding with one word answers and grunts. How are two men who grew up hating one another supposed to act when they're thrown together on the same mission?

"I'm Khan's favorite!" I'd bark at him when we first met in training school over 10 years ago.

"No I am, you bastard! You can't beat me anyway!" Bridges grabbed my shoulder and threw me to the ground. In a hurry I got up and drove him to the dirt, using all the strength I had to punch him in his stomach, chest, his arms.

"You hit like a girl, Dai," he'd ridicule me and laugh heartily knowing how much bigger he was than me. At 15 he was already 5"9 and still growing while I was 3 inches shorter and still wiry like a board but Bridges was solid muscle and to add insult to injury, he'd already achieved many of the awards I wanted as a youngster.

Fast forward to now and I've caught up with him. I shot up to 6"3, worked hard in the gym, lifting weights, entering competitions, and out scored him at every turn. I'm taller, stronger, and damnit I'm better.

Of course he'd hate my guts and the feeling is mutual but something inside me burns and has been for quite a while. A different emotion I hadn't explored.

Why did I want this man? Yeah I'd had my share of men and women in my bed and for whatever reason, only visions of him would make my cock stand proudly and ache for more.

Was it the hatred that fueled my curiosity, my lust for the man I'd always tried to best? Who knew! Damn Khan! He'd always said the one I'd fall in love with would be one I'd least expected. I had no idea he'd be talking about Bridges. Or was it that I wanted my all time enemy to be my lover?

Monday Mornin' Read - Picture Prompt

Good morning!

Saw this photo yesterday on FB and loved it. Here is a Monday Morning free read for you.

Vic and I enjoyed every moment of our bachelor party that Nathan had thrown for us. He pulled out all the stops, ordering strippers, Cristal, and caviar making us look like rock stars.

I guess it was to be expected. Me and Vic had been through hell and back in our relationship. Ten years of denying our attraction to suit everyone else, living lies, almost losing something very precious to the both of us. It seemed appropriate that we would be finally tying the knot in our homestate of New York in front of our family and friends.

I'm still not sure why the world wants to continue denying our right to say I do.

***Hope you enjoyed. I could write on the picture longer but I'm about to finish V2!

Manlove Monday

What a gorgeous photo! I love the contrast of black and white with the models and they look content and in love but there is something bothering the both of them.

Love that little element of tension!

Please read Rawiya's interpretation for the Monday Morning Read

I see a plot bunny here!

Monday Mornin' Read - Need based off of Power of Muse

Morning! This is Michael here with the Monday morning read! For the past 2 weeks, BL and Rawiya had given you free reads on Monday's and I've joined the party. It's sort of a round robin with the muses. *laughs*

Here is my sample based on the pic Rawiya used for FFF last Friday. This is a little spinoff with my characters from The Power of Muse and Inspiration.

Menacing sounds distracted him from his task; a voice telling him to leave this mortal alone. Who is that? Stop it! I hate you, damnit! Julius crept around the corner, his claws grinding against the red brick of the building. While his inner voice attempted to stop him from achieving his next kill, his piercing blue eyes fixated on the target of his desire. Yes that’s him! Oh I ache... I want, I must have!

But you cannot! He is untouchable, Julius, he is…

With his man? I know that. Who cares! I’ll tear him to shreds!

Julius, you promised the vamp gods you wouldn’t.

I promised them I’d uphold the sanctity of the vampire council, a be a good little bloodsucker. Surely that didn’t include letting go of the man I’ve been following for years now.

Yes it did, you fool! You gave your word you wouldn’t kill anyone else!

Julius stopped for a moment and thought to himself. Perhaps he did tell them he wouldn’t murder anyone else to get the man he really desired. The famous William Chatterley, author extraordinaire, who’d intrigued him since his first book was released over three earthly years ago. But how could he get over these raw emotions he was feeling?

Staring at the two lovers in the moonlight, the green monster started to come out. Thankfully, the jealousy began to override the subconscious, and he no longer heard the wails from his inner good telling him not to kill the other man that held his William. Yes, he said it and thought it, so it shall be.

Slowly he slipped on his gloves, he licked his upper lip and fangs, ready to feast on this poor mortal who’d been in his way for two days too long. “I must do this, oh lords of the council to satisfy my need. Forgive me, for I must go against your wishes!”

And with that, he poised himself to pounce on his prey like a wildcat about to eat a deer.

No regrets…no remorse….

Hope you enjoyed that. If you did, have a look at my book, Power of Muse from XOXO publishing
